T8_Bloodletter is UP

    • T8_Bloodletter is UP

      Description:
This item fails to provide consistent results due to it's execute mechanics making it difficult for dagger users to be useful in group events such as Group Dungeons.

      Urgency:
Not urgent, can be fixed within the next patch(s).

      Argumentation:
A T8 Blood Letter (1125 IP with 0 spec) deals either 516 or 1111 damage.
A T8 Carrion Caller (1125 IP with 0 spec) deals 730 damage over 5 seconds. (with a larger AoE zone and heal debuff)
The Blood Letter CAN deal more damage, but often does not because mobs/players are usually above 40% hp.

      Suggestion:
Change Blood Letter to deal flat AoE damage
In exchange make Death Givers have the execute mechanic, making them the "go to" weapon for killing low hp targets.

ROFL, No, Keep bloodletter how it is, Just use the E correctly. If you want big dmg use the death givers, Why would they switch them around lol.

yeah thats my point there is nothing wrong with bloodletter, If used correct. Its even fine for PVE. Its simple get the mob down below 50% HP then E for huge DMG and the kill. Thats the point.
    • What is wrong with you ? :D Carrion caller is USELESS, and you throw to compare it with OP weapon as bloodletter ?

The AOE is better with bloodletter as you can easily nail people if they position themself properly. Bloodletter gives you mobility and you can also use it for evading skillshots and it´s INSTANT, no animation. It reduces cooldowns by 10 seconds of all other abilities, which is insane. The damage of bloodletter is 50% higher than that of carrion caller if you hit below 40% hp, and IT´S NOT A BLEED - it´s full damage, thus it cannot be cleansed or anything. It´s very easy to hit people with it, as it´s almost instantenous movement - while carrion caller has a long animation, extremely small AOE zone ( pretty much like Q on bows), and the projectile is Slow as hell - it´s super easy for enemies to avoid. Try hitting someone with it.

By this conclusion : Bloodletter is really OP and carrion caller deserves a buff. Not only is the damage on carrion caller crappy, it´s also a bleed and it can be cleansed, but it also has no movement speed, the animation is long and thus other people can avoid it when they see someone using it, and the projectile itself is slow and can be avoided as long as one pays a bit of attention.

Also, a fun fact: Bloodletter is not a group dungeon weapon, just like carrion caller is not a group dungeon weapon as well. Technically, carrion caller is pretty much useless right now, as long as you play against people who knows it´s mechanics

I agree with everything but the group dung thing, Because it can be used when the mobs are clumped and get below 40% to destory all the rest of the mobs HP, It works really well with a blasing fire staff.
