If everyone moves out of Carleon....

    • If everyone moves out of Carleon....

If everyone moves out of Carleon, what happens to the black market, and then the loot drops?

Transport runs will help, but I don't see the black market being used as much as it is now.

Will this cause an increase in the PvP trying to gank transport runs?

Will it just reduce loot drops?

Will it make a new transport profession?

One thing for sure it will be different......

There will definitely still be people living and operating out of Caerleon. I personally feel that crafters are going to benefit a lot from this. They'll stockpile resources in Caer and be able to craft/sell to the BM while people looting things out in the black zone are not going to transport those goods to Caer to sell, they will just sell in the local outer city markets.

You can do one mammoth transport of materials from an outer city to stockpile yourself with enough mats for over a month's worth of crafting. Most people will just use their guilds to help in moving a mammoth (our guild does this often with scouts in the different zones and an armed escort force).

I don't honestly expect the prices on the black market to change much. I just think it's going to be more dominated by crafters (more than it currently is). Like I expect my guild mates to leave their crafting alts based out of Caer, but move their mains to whichever outer city we're going to play out of for the Queen update.
    • If anything it will get rid of / reduce the number of non crafters and the people who crash prices by simply dumping their ganking loot onto the blackmarket for ridiculously cheap prices. Thus on the whole it will be better for crafters since there's less competition. There will still be tons of demand for resources.
