The Mule Death Race Event

2-3k people was trying to participate -> maybe 20% got possibility to see something (those who close to the country/citty where servers located) then all others have a 0 vision and hate now GM, Developers, Events and finally game.
Keep doing that kind of events and you will lose another 20-30% of active players.

Why letting a HUGE AMMOUNT of people enter the stone and wait for 40 minutes until telling us we are just not gonna race because of i don't know why the reason since we are given NO EXPLANATION?

The participation was admittedly far higher than we had anticipated for the 18:00 race. This is also the reason why the majority of players ended up in the lobby area, as we were manually putting participants into the race from the lobby area to ensure only players with Mules could make it in. Unfortunately the 200 reserved slots filled up long before the lobby was emptied, apologies to everyone who waited and didn't make it in.

The good news is, we will expand the slots for the race at 22:00 UTC, so about 5x more players will be able to get into the race.

QUALIFIER RULES

Begin the race mounted on your Mule
You may not use any other mounts
You are not allowed to move unless you are on a mount
You may not use any spells/abilities during the race

Failure to follow these rules will result in an immediate disqualification from the event.

Because you ran most of the race on foot? I wonder how many other people on that list ran as well. It was a cluster F anyway.

So I saw somebody riding a horse during the stream and I thought: "thats not right"... but then I looked at the rules and technically he is OK so long as he started the race on a mule and then switched to the horse after the start. Is that how these rules are intended to be read? Because if you want people on the mule at all times you need to change rule 3 to "You are not allowed to move unless you are riding your mule mount" because "a mount" could be anything the player brings to the race.

EDIT: Nevermind.... I completely missed rule 2. Dude on horse was straight up wrong lol

Adding the "Naked" rule just solve things, as being hit by traps knock down instant, instead of people walking inside the traps with heavy armor.
