What happens to warcamps with coming outland changes?

So we heard there is a new map layout coming for the outlands with one of the next patches. I want to know: are contents of warcamps safe or will i have to move stuff out of the warcamps out there before the change happens?

Will any warcamps be deleted or will the patch just move them around and the content stays there?

Thanks in advance for insight on this important issue.

We'll publish a full update on our plans for the Outland rework and system changes soon. These plans are still being adjusted as we bounce different ideas and collect feedback from the player base.

Many of the individual changes will only make sense when seen in the light of all the other changes that will go along with them.

Thanks for the reply. Please don't make me clear out all these warcamps though. Would be a massive headache to visit every single warcamp to check what's left in there.

I understand @Korn you don't want to spill the beans on the update which is totally understandable. While I get that the inner workings are still being iterated on, I feel like this issue has to have come up.
Are you sure that this far along in the design process you can't even possibly give a hint as towards "yes, moving your stuff might be wise" or "no worries, your stuff will be safe" ?

Certainly not trying to rag on you or AO. Love the game to death, I just feel like since you took the time to answer here you might at least be able to give some insight as to which way the current plans are leaning.

There will no longer be war camps with the next update as they are no longer needed in their role as an open world "entry point" to the GvG grid.

There will however most likely be neutral outposts in the Outlands to act as a "base" for solo / small group players who do not have a hideout. They will not have any building space or crafting buildings though. (but will have a market and repair shop)

@Korn I think they wanted an update about if we have to solo clear every single war camp out. Along with all towers.

Exactly. I have a lot of recources all over the blackzone in just about every camp. It's days of gathering worth. Do i need to move it out or will the content carry over to another bank after the update? @Korn

I imagine, unless the decide to fill wipe all ownership. that WC #s is a specific # and if any changes are to be made the # of WCs will not change meaning gear will be transitioned.

In the event that’s isn’t the case I’d assume SBI gives a 2 week warning or auto moves the gear (prolly more of an issue since you can’t tell player bank capacity)

so based on history, you’ll get a time period to move your gear.

Well at times they wipe peoples char. progression, that's taken them months by completely flipping around item abilities etc eliminating specific synergies. So why not?
