    • Regarding the Guild Challenge and Season Points

      Hey everyone,

Today, the Guild Challenge feature has been put into effect for the first time - unfortunately, there is a small problem. The challenge points needed to progress to the next level do currently not scale correctly - in short: the amount of challenge points required to progress to the next level is much lower than intended.

With tomorrow's maintenance, we will be deploying a Hotfix which will correct the values needed to progress to the next Guild Challenge level and set guilds back to their appropriate level. This, however, means the affected guilds will be able to again collect Season Point rewards from levels they have already unlocked. We will be correcting the Season Points for those guilds with a patch next week.

We deeply apologize for the issues and thank you to everyone who reported this bug.

    • Nerf Guild challenge points for big guilds. Small guilds have no chance with these big guilds with 200+ members. Small Allys have no chance against big allys conquering territories aswell. If you're not squad, sauce, or whatever you cannot do shit as an ally because you're outnumbered 6 to 1.

If your guild has 100 or less members = 300 points
If your guild has 200 or less members = 200 poitns
If your guild has 300 or less = 100 points

I think its fair =( but it wont happen ever.

Your suggestion isn't accurate. If a guild has 300 members does not mean that 300 are active daily. If this suggestion gets in place we will kick 200 members from our guild because only 40 are active daily.
    • it's a matter of scaling heyayajajaja. It will be the same for small guilds. Small guilds have their share amount of afk players too, maybe not as much as big guilds but proportionally speaking percentage are quite the same.

This proposal is very good to motivate people to be more active and kinda shutting down big guilds/alliance in some way but impossible to apply correctly as big guilds has to time their downsizing to exploit the mechanic (then they resize after/ repeat the process each level)
The only way i think this solution can work is applying thoses points the last day of the season just after an algorithm checks the avg numbers of members on the guild each day of the season to aplly the right amount of season points.

Different idea: Destiny has a system for Clan XP which limits the amount of XP that both a single character and the whole clan can get every week. I could imagine a similar system for Guild challenge points in Albion, with like a daily cap per guild member and a weekly overall challenge point cap per guild. This would reward active guilds more compared to big ones, as well as limiting the advantage big guilds could get.

It will not. Big guilds don't do PVE farming as their gear is maxed out pretty much. They get season points by mostly owning territories, so no that will only hurt smaller guilds.

that is so completely wrong - big guilds and alliances are big because they take everyone and their dog

      100% incorrect.

The big guilds / alliance generally have access to the best PvE spots and farm them 24/7. In fact, id say the biggest challenge these guilds have is stopping there members faming long enough to do PvP. Which is why they have rules and CTA to force there members to stop faming.
    • The Season Points and Siphoned Energy for affected guilds have been adjusted with today's Hotfix.

So... you do not get any more guild challenge keys when you max out your adventure challenge.?

nvm... it doesnt show on screen, but it still updates.
When you unlock everything related to the Adventurer's challenge (mount, weekly chest, daily bonus), then the over-head message of you gaining Challenge Points will no longer be displayed - you are still gaining Challenge Points normally though. This will be fixed with a coming update.

This man should be hired in SBI!

By the way alliances should be removed from this game!
