I am not sure who I should send my application to. I am qualified to join the round table and have attached a resume with past experience.

I was #3 in PvP Kill Fame for the months of September, November 2019, #1 in PvP Kill Fame for the month of March 2020. I have held a position in the top 10 - top 100 every month since last summer.

Currently I am #9 overall PvP Kill Fame in the game.
Sorry, a small 5-10 man ganking guild with zero territory, former ARCH alliance member, and can be found regularly ganking outside of Morgana's Rest doesn't qualify you to the round table.

You're missing 2/3 of the major requirements, but keep up that fame farming!

How do I join the Albion Online Round Table?
In order to qualify, you must meet one of the following requirements:

I met one of the requirements three different times. Two of the times I met the requirements I never ganked at all. Also, I made a serious post. I am sorry if we have drama in game but it is easy to look at my stats and see that I do not only gank around Morgana's Rest.

I'm just busting your balls, in all honesty we need to diversify the RT as some of the more recent additions like cluster queue have been terrible implementations and AOTV has been quoted saying RT were the main proponents in getting it added and/or tested. Founders, BETA/Alpha players, and people who experienced this game in it's more RAW form (2016/2017) including older Sandbox MMOs (UO/Darkfall/etc) should have their feedback valued more then ever as although I really enjoy how far the game has come, we've strayed so far from what it was originally designed to be.

      - Cluster queue system is terribly designed, constant bandaid fixes are simply taking up development time attempting to fix a problem that should have never existed
      - Crystal GvG matches should NOT match one guild against each other, especially if there are other available opponents, it completely defeats the purpose of having a competitive point system
      - Crystal League should not be solely determined by cGvG matches, Queen looked to focus on more open-world content but S9 has been dictated by cGvGs alone, this should be easy to evaluate from a data perspective
      - Having the RT consist of purely top-ranked GMs begs the question as to whom/who is ever advocating for changes outside of PvP like gathering, city plots, and small-scale play

      That's all for today
    • While they do not appear to mention it in the requirements I noticed the majority of RT members are also frequent forum posters. So my assumption is they also want to consider those actively discussing items on the forum on a regular basis as they probably figure those that never talk on the forum probably would also never talk on the RT. Naturally after posting this I reread and noticed that yes it is mentioned in item 3. Hate it when that happens.

I don't think all 3 of those are requirements, i see people on that list who qualify for none of the 3.

I do find it weird that Sohrab isn't on the round table. If you combine Crisis and Sohrab he has more kill fame than anyone. It's like him and Derrick as #1/#2 pvp fame of all time if you combine the alt fame.

There are a lot of no-life players/streamers that play bad or have bad understanding of game mechanics
You just need to spend few hours on twitch to understand that

Of course, they listen to good suggestions and don't listen to bad ones.

Im happy to keep supporting the development of this game and will continue to do so as I have for the last few years.

Well, the changes made throughout the design of the game have been fantastic. So, clearly neither of you peanut brained keyboard warriors have any idea about me. Secondly, the combat mechanics of the game-- i.e. the balancing of the weapons is where I draw my line and point the finger. It's obvious that no one on SBI side is paying attention to the details of stress testing from the NDA

      U ok?
    • Well hello and good morning Albion! I am led here under the impression that this Round Table might be in need of a pirate??

I am THE captain of the most notorious piratez in all of Albion, Black Flag. We have been under the same flag since the beginning of beta. We have been a full 300 man guild, then the following month, we could be a skeleton crew just trying to stay afloat. We have had numerous ups and downs throughout the seasons but we really hit our "Golden Age" coming out of season 5 and hitting season 6 full stride. We are known for our family style atmosphere and a wide variety of content we take part in. This last season has been a rebuilding time for our guild, as we ended the season previous we had a change of guard and lost a lot of experienced players to more competitive guilds.

I think I might just qualify by default with my next level role-playing skills and decoration placement that has honestly been on the cutting edge for years. Anyone who has tried to mage raid us Pre-Queen will attest to what I am referring to, as our territories we always made comfortably pleasing to the eyes.

As we <Black Flag> prepare for Avalon Mists and next season, I believe I have enough time and experience to be a contributing member at the table. The time issue is what has kept me applying previous, but my schedule and time availability for such a project is wide open.

So, let's see here, @Elsa @Derrick @KingMoJo Yo! someone vouch for me or ya know, put in a good word or something <3

U actually playing again, heard u ghosted for a month. Did you give Joe Right Hand- sources have led me to believe this.

My vote goes to -> Primovato

Tho I think you should pick me up as a representative for the unguilded masses.

-not that i am opposed to guilds but i have insights to playing without, or in very small guilds, and experience in large guilds w/NAPs-

Maybe you should take time to be more than a rule monger and do some research about these people who are applying for the round table instead of being rude, Gank.

Primo is a huge part of the community, runs a large community and has a ton of experience with small scale content, which is a huge feature being published by SBI in like 12 hours or less. He is an innovative player. Most people who hit gold rank should't be on the round table. I look at the roster and it makes me freak out thinking that people who do not play the game and are not passionate about the game have a controlling stake in the game's future.

Hitting gold is dumb, it just requires commitments to aspects of the game that we think should change. I think if people like Primo were on the round table then more innovative players could hit Gold and better ideas could be heard by more versatile players. Or the rule for hitting Gold Ranking wouldn't be some standard you all mocking bird on the forums any time anyone wants in. There are other qualifications other than hitting Gold alone to get you on the round table, Highest Fame in a Month, leading a community, etc. To reach out and deny people entrance to a round table in a game that I hardly see Gank playing is a little toxic.

    • Hello all,

I'm UnkleRukus in game, the founding GM and current co-GM of Death-and-Taxes and I would like to throw my hat in for a bid at the round table.

I have played the game for over a year now. I came to the game with a vast history of MMO experience including: being a raid leader for a competitive WoW guild for 5 years, achieving 2 server-firsts raid clears and many other accollades. I am also an original Beta tester for Ultima Online where I was a member of the notorious Evil is Good guild on the Great Lakes and Baja shards, and played UO heavily for over 9 years. I also was a GM of a large alliance guild in Shadowbane, Dark Age of Camalot, and was an early invester and player in Darkfall Online.

I came to Albion when a friend from other games and popular streamer, JonahVeil, introduced it to me. All he had to say was "full loot pvp, sandbox style," and I was in.

In the 15 months I have played this game I came from a lowly nature hellgate rat, to a veteran ZvZer and main Healer in Vastly Superior where we achieved Crystal ranking in Season 7. I quickly became promoted to Recruiter, and then Officer where I organized regear programs and performed recruitment duties for the guild. After VS disbanded, I had a short stay in Tea Party, and then founded the guild Death-and-Taxes.

Our guild's first claim to fame originated in our creation of the Avalonian Raid Discord, where we built a community of over 1000 players across many guilds and all royal cities to organize and complete high tier Avalonian Raids. We developed a strategy for the fastest full-clear of the dungeons including many 8.3 map full clears, the most of any group or community I know of in the game.

Our guild also has become notorious for our ganking, bomb squads, and small-scale fighting (what we call "brawling"). Our community is based on the philosophy that we are all about having fun, and being competive, but also free to call our own shots and not be beholden to anyone but ourselves.

This past season we made a goal to reach silver ranking, and we did so with many weeks left before season end. Had we wanted to push for gold we could have gotten it, but we preferred different content.

The community that I and other founders have built here at Death-and-Taxes is something we are proud of and I am looking to contribute more to the game of Albion by becoming a member of the round table. We have achieved a lot for a mid-sized guild that has never relied on joining big alliances or holding many hands to get ahead. We prefer it the hard way and are proud of that.

I believe I have a lot to offer the round table and I know the new requirements are to be a GM of a guild that reaches gold, and so I ask that all the accomplishments that I have had alongside my history and knowledge of gaming, as well as my personal accolades (I am a former military officer, successful financial professional, coach, teacher, and father of 4 children) be taken into account in determining my qualifications.

I could bring a lot of value and perspective to the round table with a mature approach and a creative mind that is also well-attuned to the desires of the playerbase. Therefore I hope you consider my application.

Thank you for your consideration, and have a good day.

      -UnkleRukus, co-GM of Death-and-Taxes
