Hey everyone!
It's hard to write this, but the Percival update marks the end of my time at Sandbox Interactive. Quite some time ago I decided it's time for me to move on to new challenges and therefore I have to say goodbye today.
I joined the Albion development team three and a half years ago in February 2016 as a Level Designer, fresh from university and went on to become the UI Designer, an amazing opportunity for me personally, as I became the head of a multi disciplinary team of 5 people.
Even though I'm leaving, I am excited for the future of Albion and the development team behind it. They are incredibly passionate about the project and you can truly feel it working on and playing the game. But they aren't the only ones being passionate about this game. I want to thank each and everyone of you, the players, for being a part of the community that surrounds the world of Albion. Without your input, feedback, memes, fanart, jokes, streams and passion, working on the game wouldn't have been the same for me.
I learned so much and I am forever grateful for the opportunities I had here at Sandbox Interactive.
I left the UI team in the hands of the fantastic @GrayMo who is definitely the right one for the job and I'm convinced my successor for the Game Systems Designer position will be too.
I'll stick around ingame and check the forums and other channels from time to time, but then as a regular player - not an employee.
Super cheesy, but I'm leaving you with a song of the good old @Veetus which brings back a lot of good memories for me and therefore is my perfect goodbye song.

While walking into the sunset H4n1baL starts singing: "Albion is freeeeeee..."
Find the song here. Yes it's free!
