      So i once went to the Realmgate in Caerleon and used it to get my first look into the outlands . but now i want to have my "main city" Martlock . but in order to use the realmgate there i first have to get to the portal in the outlands there so that means traveling across the whole outlands . First thing to mention: Some new players (including me ) didnt know that there was this portal lock system and now i have to go through the whole outlands . Second thing : The Portal areas where u get out into the lands is overfilled with campergroups that are just waiting for players to get out of the safe zone so they can kills us . Like this it seems it is impossible to remove the Portal lock debuff . and that sucks and im already thinking about quitting . so any advice or help i can get would be appreciated .

      free to play time to make a new account...... ok ok fine i know this is not what you want to hear.. seriously SBI stickie some of these warning that has already been MADE public into the ingame option link... we about to get more of the above threads....

      You will need someone to escort you and this is hard... i have an idea they call the place archwood [join arch, go through portal get to martlock leave arch XD]

      because of the portal lock my area is now close to fortsterlin. I had to travel through the 25-50 arch [25 close ot portal the other 25 was moving up and fighting players of another zerg], all the way to coombe tor which is first step to getting to anglia.... You will have to try to do the same....

    • I agree that it's a dick move to uninformed new players and F2P who have no idea what they're getting into with a Mercia lock....

      New players should be explicitly informed that entering into Mercia from Caerleon will lock you to there PERMANENTLY.

      im positive this might be alittle confusing since city portal might be taken as the portal inside THE CITY XD.. either way for those using the portal it is warned that there is a lock, the only thing i don't see is the permanent lock..i feel like designer have it hard explaining it to the player, or that there should of been many foresight of what would of happen.. welcome to ALBIoNONLINE XD

    • I honestly think the portal lock should reset every 24 hours or even do like a three day reset if need be. Permanent is just a bit more harsh especially since Arch and a few others have nothing better to do then to gank around alderwood 24/7. When the Black zone expansion comes out it might be a little easier to relock since there will be a third path out of Mercia but still I would vote for the three day unlock timer. (Which would assume that you don't visit the black zone for an entire 72 hours)

      Spent 30min running nakid across the outland only to be killed 30sec from the portal...

      What is the point of this?

      If portals should be this strict for some reason I as a new player do not understand at least give new people one free portal reset or something.. or why not just let us set our portal period, and lock it in for 48/72 hrs.. a week, whatever... but this is just horrible..
    • I didn't like the new gate system too.
      It isolate some guilds that play Low and Mid black .
      But it help the game to populate the cities in the royal zone that was dying before, also reduced the influx of players just camping the Caerleon realmgate.

      So once I saw the difference that this is making to the game I start to like it and see that was necessary.

      But they need to implement some sort of Portal magic sickness debuff because the portal camping is the new cancer, something that for people to leave the area.

      It notifies you, running naked on a t3 horse to the closest set of portals isnt hard, run to that one enter to rebind then exit and make your way to the next set. that way if you do die you are closer, it really isnt as big of a deal as you make it out to be.

      my thoughts exacly, it is good solution not perfect but at last keeps royal continent cities other then caerleon allive.

      And for the topick creator 1000000 people made their way to mercia before you and as many will do after you. if you cant adopt and evade gankbangers well.... sux to be you :D

    • IMO this portal lock hurt “Solos” the most

      Zergs only went anglia when other Zergs where their. Now that that’s gone as a solo being forced to be stationed in Cumbria or anglia is a step down.

      Can’t rlly go Mercia unless I’m in arch or squad.

      A simple fix to this? Limit alliance size

    • Haha yes over half of all posts always comes down to for the love of god just stop making it so easy/profitable to zerg! Just get rid of alliances already 300 people is plenty. Also make it so EVERY territory can be attacked/launched on not this simplistic 1 war camp per 6 terris crap. So easy for the zergs to simply zerg 2 war camps to defend like 12 terris.
    • you can’t remove alliances or you further fuck small guilds, they’d have to merge into 300 man single guild robbing them of the independence they had. alliance player limit is better. Limits alts, limits alliance size, doesn’t force players to give up their guild.

      I’m pretty sure Roadmap also stated Terri raiding will allow you to launch
