I think that playing backline rdps with high damage is a high risk, high reward type playstyle. You deal a lot of damage but you also die very easily if you are caught in a bad spot. With the new patch base movement speed will be increased which is mainly a buff to melee classes as they don't have to stand still to deal damage like most rdps classes do. This will help melee classes close the gap to rdps about 15% faster than currently when the rdps is casting to deal damage. Curse is the only rdps that does not stand still for extended periods of time to do damage because they don't have cast times (except for great curse E) which means this is also a kinda a buff to curse staff users as well.

Edit: The base movespeed is changing from "Base Movement Speed: 4.8 m/s -> 5.5 m/s"

damn, thats really nerf to all ranged's... with all their "standtimes" and "cast times"... they buffing melees every patch, and now at Gvg's we see two and three melees, and it is not the end
