Statement from the dev's that we just shared on AOTV, posting here: Question: Can you awaken items with 100% safe (HCE/yellow/blue zone) PvE? Answer: "The mob tier must be equal to or higher than the weapon for it to earn attunement. so T4-T6 items can be leveled relatively safely, but the most powerful items can most easily be leveled up in T8 zones. You can level T7 items safely in T7 mists, but it would be incredibly slow because T7 yellow mists are rare."

A lot of questions are to be asked following this dev' talk, so I'll wait until we get hands-on on the Staging Server. As many have already mentioned, I hope this cannot be done in safe zones and you can only level these in full loot zones.

Hey @Eltharyon can you confirm if this is ALL legendary chests (small, medium, large treasure chests) as they don't scale in size but only change their rarity, compared to for example, Static Dungeon chests which grow in size depending on their rarity. Is this focused on Epic/Legendary chests in ALL content or targeted content? Thanks.

Welcome! I look forward to working with you and getting to know you more. The best event I'd say was the 5th Anniversary event, something that got players into the open world, killing each other, running around and hunting super rare items was a blast and we need more of that!
