  • The fundamental problem of Albion. All counters to these builds are not actual counters because excessive mobility can always freely escape. They can make as many mistakes as they want.

  • Even as a guy who only cares about PvP I agree. Rewards in all content keep declining which is very bad for those looking for PvP as well. It is feeling like a pure money grab at this point to force premium via real currency. It keeps getting increasingly difficult (desire wise) to play the game with any sort of consistency due to lack of content/rewards. They have all the possibilities in place just need more of it much more often.

  • People also get mad when they die in black zones. Sadly some people would prefer the game to be farmville.

  • Slayer was meant for higher gear fights so this is a legitimate gripe. There is no point in having 3 CD types and make the IP barely any difference between them. With all the added IP and ease of acquiring fame since CD launch Slayer min should be upped by 100-200 IP more towards the 200 side. Flat 6 gear people can run Stalker which was the intent all along.

  • Same issue with carving as with most oppressive mobility weapons. They get to engage immediately with mobility E AND run away with that same E when losing. Should not have both options. Fix is E being target only.

  • The community did in fact vote to make this happen a few years ago but the mega alliances apparently convinced the devs to leave as is and never discuss again.

  • I have to admit the lack of response on daybreaker is borderline comical at this point. Should have been fixed immediately that is incredibly important in making the build playable.

  • I already have many complaints about the vile excessive nerf. I just know they fall on deaf ears since most of the population plays with no defensives. We were already struggling to brawl vs DGs, swords etc and we never could kill kiters who chose to run even before this heavy nerf. Sticking to thread topic it should have been at least a 2-3 second nerf on cape but I guess it is something.

    Every single player in game has dodge roll which completely nullifies 1h curse and even much of skull E. Issue is most players want to maintain their guaranteed infinite resets so they refuse to swap to easy curse counters. With that said I do agree skull E should not trigger merc jacket tickets similar to badon E. Curse skull is the only weapon that was ever played consistently at a competitive level and even then has always been outshined by various high mobility builds over the years.

  • Playing 1h curse is high risk/high reward gameplay. Over half matchups these days 1h curse cannot even use their Es or they just lose all damage since majority of meta builds have direct defensive or iframe counters. Additionally 1h curse dies much more than majority of other builds due to having zero mobility. If you run across a hard counter you just die and you are easily ganged up on (in Mists for example).     Fairly simple change to skull would be preventing E damage from triggering merc jacket heals. Even if you have purge that E triggers heals so quickly they still get great benefit before purge hits.

    If a curse gets a 4 stack bomb off on you while moumted it also means they had to use their sprint and will have no way to catch after dismounting you anyway. I agree with scrapping grudge it is a silly spell. Desecrate is balanced you need to sacrifice a shit ton of DPS to use it.

    All these builds that can just freely pick and choose fights are always busted because they have no actual counter. Everything that can beat them or evenly match up they just run like a bitch. Fundamental broken mechanic of Albion PvP. Non mobile builds have plenty of counters as well the difference is they just die. That is supposed to be part of the risk/reward balance of PvP which is broken via excessive mobility.
