It is Oskido's reply that gives me a bit of pause, not because I think it is correct, but because it appears to not understand the nature of issues underlying the idea. Base of the Discussion At the base of this discussion, are two questions: Why do players enjoy farming? and Why don't more farmers become dedicated guild farmers? To over-simplify the gamut of answers to the first question, let us say that for those players it creates a positive emotional response. Players in-game want to achieve…

Quote from Ungwe_Lianti: “I believe SBI had promised Free steam keys a long time ago, Seem to be early in the BETA runs, was it 2-3 years back? So I believe the ones coming back from breaks or whatever, they have an honest reason to get pissed. I'm quite confident a whole lot of players have bought it SOLELY for the reason that SBI have promised to give out keys for free, but even more have purchased it because they was tricked to believe you'd not have to purchase the game and start all over on…

This quote is from last year in regards to the question if 4 houses were more advantageous than 1 guild hall in the same space: Quote from Elsa: “Can't say I see the benefit. Maybe you're saving a bit on resources and perhaps it's easier to manage (depending on how you organize it), but you end up with fewer laborer and furniture slots regardless. 0qrnWAT.png ”

The character that you have standing still at the front of the dungeon is a scout, to see if players are entering the dungeon. This would break the third section, “characters may not act as scouts”. Use of multiple accounts for scouting purposes is in violation of the Terms of Service. I would strongly recommend against doing this!

Quote from December 2017. Hope this helps! Quote from Elsa: “You can play with multiple characters (on separate accounts) at the same time, but only under certain conditions: Quote from Terms & Conditions 11.2: “Multiple registrations, as well as setting up and operating multiple User Accounts at our Services are allowed. However, if the User is playing the Game with multiple Characters at the same time, all of the following rules must be followed: i) the Characters may not interact or cooperate…

In having killed 10’s of thousands of rabbits, if not hundreds of thousands from alpha until now in the name of testing, I have already had my fill of rabbit slaughter. However ... Be aware, it is possible to injure a rabbit without killing it, using an almost fully damaged tier 1 tool. The injured rabbits will not fight back. Please don’t be cruel and make them suffer too much. Best of luck to the participants!

Islands are meant to be a foundation or anchor point for players entering into the world of Albion. From the very beginning, the Development Team has consistently held that islands will be the least economically advantageous for use; land in cities or in guild territories will always offer better returns. You can read more about the last major change in island cost methodology here: The Role of Private Islands There are a few other things to consider: 1. Buildings on Islands do not lose durabili…

I wrote a long time ago on the elements that small guilds might focus on for success (quote below), in a less savory thread overall. Achieving success in these elements should lead toward a good guild, but I would be remiss to not acknowledge that achieving and maintaining synergies between guild members is an important factor in its own right, which might be factored as culture, guild interaction, or a feeling of belonging by others. Otherwise, as I wrote in 2014: Quote from Zetecua: “Organizat…

Hey @lustweed , What part of "does your setup give you an unfair advantage? If yes, don't do it." don't you understand? On this very page of the thread there is discussion about such setups, so I don't think that part is out of context. While Korn did not directly say, X action will lead to Y outcome, if a developer says to not do something, yet you choose to ignore that warning, well, you might have to live with the consequences of your actions.

In regards to screen resolutions not officially supported by the client: Quote from Korn: “ ... If you run a screen resolution that is not officially supported by the client, then yes, you are in danger. Now, an easy test is this: does your set-up give you an unfair advantage? If yes, don't do it. When it comes to detection, here is the thing: If you are cheating, and are not auto-detected right now, any time the game is updated could be the end of your account...Do you want to risk it? ... ”
