Actually you start to loose dps even with 8.0 eel stew if your ping is low. 9.5% damage/cdr is a way better than 15% damage because damage modifier is additive and cdr modifier is multiplicative. 6.2 Eel stew is equal to 8.2 damage food for leather armor and 8.3 for robes. Lets think now, if it is a buff or nerf for one hand cursed staffs?

1h hammer is just a worse version of 2h hammers. with 2 sec cooldown on Q you can sync your auto attack and Q. 1h hammer does the same but with lesser damage, and mistcaller do not provide additional dps increase, it is the same autoattack+Q. If you chose dps offhand hammer damage becomes equal to 2h, So what is the point to use it? Ability damage modifier is added only to abilities. Attack damage modifier is added only to auto attacks. Mastery bonus provides an IP. Every 100 IP increase 2h weapons damage on 9.18% and 1h weapon damage on 8.25%. IP damage bonus is used to calculate your ability and attack damage that you see in skill/weapon description.
