i agree with most of these. Only one im kinda against is the mobs / traps - i think 1v1 duels would be pretty meh overall and too rock / paper scissors, i think having some additional environmental conditions to keep in mind during encounters improves the 1v1 environment. But could always be improved / fine tuned, certainly (stop endless resetting omgggggg). The bats are an ok idea but have proven too exploitable (and why do stacks drop out of combat?!?!). This screenshot from match just finished should sum up about everything terrible about the arena ranking system So a bunch of silver random dudes (i was solo que at least) beat a 3 stack of gold / crystal players, and I get 18 rp. wtf lol, It should have been 50+ if the matchmaker took opponents rank / team size into consideration at all, but it barely does. i think the game is pretty decently balanced in stuff like arena, treasure chest fights, outpost fights etc. Key is there has to be a stationary objective to fight over. Anytime the game gets away from that and allows constant resetting without losing the "objective", gameplay turns into complete unfun garbage. I dont care about mists or open world stuff too much, it is an open world experience where there is no real balance - is what it is in those cases. But corrupt dungeon is long overdue for…

not on pts i guess so cant test, but if the 0 cast time proposed also means 0 standtime (so you could cast this while moving without breaking stride), i think it will finally be pretty good

this is the single biggest issue i have getting friends to play this game. The constant chasing for minutes because game has no good mechanics to prevent constant running. Every non shoe slot mobility skill should be given the bearpaw / hallowfall treatment - cooldown increased if you dont hit an enemy / ally with the skill. to help gathering, when wearing gathering gear (3 piece), this cooldown penalty is removed.

this is exactly how friendly spell targeting works (can hover mouse over friendly target with a targeted spell, quick cast will cast on target while simultaneously selecting them as your target). So in theory this should be easy to implement... but they wont implement town overcrowded option on pc even though they already did it on mobile so ya good luck lol.
