My experience has been that selling the raw hide has been the most lucrative. You can craft items with it and try to sell those but it takes time and it will be at a loss of silver unless you are refining with a bonus and then crafting at higher expertise and in a hideout for those bonuses as well. You can't go wrong building your personal wealth.
