Gathering tomes are a benefit to gatherers. Full stop. You need to actually gather to get them. The drop rate is low. People will overpay for easy fame. As Fusion has said, the old "It was harder for me! So I want it to stay that hard!" thing, no one cares. The goal of existence isn't to live in perpetual normalcy. There are going to be changes and, generally, those changes will make it easier to do things in the future.

Just slap a timer on people when they kill or loot. The same idea of the outlaw timer. You should have to stick around for a while before you can FT back. I don't think the option should be totally removed though.

They aren't useless. They just aren't particularly valuable. So the correction is to stop paying so much for them. This idea that SBI is supposed to create all content with the idea that you get to buy something for whatever price you want, and then are guaranteed to get a return. Is pretty silly.

Journey back is going to be a massive success. I have concerns about it being costed correctly and not being able to be exploited to a huge degree, in some unforeseen way. But, the risks are probably worth it.

Make sure you understand what 7-10k LP will get you. That sounds like a huge amount, and it sorta is, but that will get you a 700/700 crafting line and maybe a little to spare, if you dump LP into it.

1. Spend them on something. A refining or crafting line. To diversify. Grind up to T8 gathering for one profession on a single character to access the backpacks.
