  • The New Travel Map

I love it a lot, but: 1. I find the choice to keep the player cursor constant and shift the entire map to be weird. I would rather the map be centered and the player cursor move. 2. You can't used the new WASD hotkeys with the travel map open. Click-to-move only.

  • New Bow E + CD reduction

    Lanzier - - Bugs

    Post

If you don't use the combo twirl, the CD reduction from pork omelette only applies to the last four seconds of the Enchanted Quiver. If you do use the combo twirl to restock your 4 arrows, the ability goes on the normal cooldown and receives the appropriate CD reduction from the omelette. Not sure if this is a bug but it seems like it should be. I assume this is also true for other abilities with the same combo mechanic but I never bothered to check.

  • When the roads first launched, there were 2-man portals and 7-man portals. The developers actually intended the 7-man portals to be 5-man portals, but added 2 extra slots so the 5 man groups wouldn’t be impeded if a 2 man group used their portals. Now there are no 2-man portals, so the developers changed the 7-man portals to be 6-man. The developers still think the 6-man portals are 5-man portals, but with 1 extra slot in case a solo player is traveling or transporting through the same portals. …

  • The mists were designed to take all the good open world content from the Lands Awakened update and apply it to a solo zergless experience. Lands Awakened was one of Albion’s best updates, so it seems like this should be a sure-fire win. But somehow it didn’t land properly. What when wrong? Ultimately I think the mists fails to properly capture the true essence of the open world: - The player encounters don’t have enough variety. The player counts are the same in every mist. There’s also arguably…

  • I like the zerg bubble change I like the death skull change I think more needs to be done about third parties. I also think you should consider a “De-mount Aura” similar to the existing conditional flagging circle. This aura would demount players around objectives, forcing them to fuck off or fight. I’ve got no problems with mounts in the mists or people running away from fights to mount, but the way mounts work in Albion they give people incredible safety to act like vultures. I think you wante…

  • Quote from Fabrizziou: “BRAZILIAN oke out of jokes maybe this is the origin: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broc%C3%A9liande It seems to be the place where Merlyn passed away ” Yeah this has to be it, thanks!

  • What is the etymology of the name Brecilien? I tried to look it up in relation to Aruthurian Legend and the best I got was that its a variation on one of the names of the Green Knight. I watched either the Nesnes Q&A or the Dev talk on the city and they mentioned something about it being the name of the forest in the mists or something which i didn’t understand at all.

  • Another thing worth considering: This could open up the possibility of an “orange zone” in the Royal continent. This would be a rule set where full loot would be disabled in favor of flagged players being allowed to rob their victims only. This wouldn’t replace red zones but would be in addition to them. The jump from no full loot to yes full loot is steep for a lot of newer players and this zone type would smooth that progression out, hopefully improving retention. I would also love to see this…

  • Get to Brecilien and point 1 will be solved.

  • Guild Finder Feedback

One solution I thought of for activities: Clicking an activity once will select it and twice will “exclude” it and show as a red X instead of the yellow check mark. That way I can always exclude one activity and get rid of all the generic guilds.

    Post

I was playing around with the guild finder and I have the following comments: 1. imgur.com/a/1fDLVSs 2. The guild finder lacks a distinction between "inclusive" and "exclusive". If I only want to search for Roads of Avalon guilds I can't just select the Roads Activity, because it shows every guild that selected that activity including the ones that just select all activities. I can't narrow down which guilds are doing the content I'm interested in when the GUI is flooded with all these generic e…

Quote from Obelis: “ - Player Anonymity is something that's being considered and actually exists in the concept; but to do it right it's not a trivial task...this is something that I'd like to see implemented in a way that's polished, can't be easily circumvented, and is reusable (can be turned on or off wherever we want). It's unclear if this can be done in time, but it's also a candidate for an early patch so it's good to see that requested a few times here. ” I'm not sure why people keep requ…

  • Another interesting wrinkle I thought about: Robbery is a less serious crime than murder, so the reputation penalty for red zone robbery can be lower. Maybe instead of losing 1000 rep per glorious kill, you only lose 200 per theft. Or even better, you only lose 50 rep for every person you down, but you lose an additional 50 rep for every item you loot from that players inventory. So if they don't have much worth taking you just leave them their T4 stuff and move on with a minimal rep penalty. Bu…

  • Quote from Laem: “I also heavily disagree. Imagine an outnumbered fight. You kill one of your opponent, and while you continue fighting the rest of them, the "downed" guy revive (or helpt/revived be his friend). Endless fight with no chance to win. It is already hard enough. I play this game because it's full loot, and that doesn't prevent me to speak sometimes with my victim/murderer : when the fight was close, good, or things like that. As people already mentioned above, this will involve way …

  • Normal Bow E (enchanted quiver) problem

    Post

The yellow color bug in my second post is still around.

  • This is still happening. Is it just me? Is there a setting I can fix?

  • I think this is a great idea. People already queue with builds assuming their healer won't be good, so they might enjoy all-dps matches more.

  • This is still a good idea and would add lots of sand to the sandbox! Player interactions can and should be more nuanced, if only developers would give us the tools. I would also like to see this added with a toggle, allowing players to change between "always kill", "always rob", and "contextual" where you specify a market value of a players equipment below which you rob and above which you kill. And other players should see whether you would rob or kill them by changing the sigil next to a playe…
