Quote from Keziki: “This has been going on for years, dont expect a fix any time soon. ” I really hope they fix it before release, something like this going without a fix wouldn't do AO any favours retaining their new players.

I have the same issue, tried multiple fixes with no luck. I wish the Devs would acknowledge the problem so we'd know if a fix is in the works.

Tried reformatting and installing everything fresh, still no joy. I've noticed playing full screen instead of windowed mode helps slightly.

Quote from FlapR: “Are all your drivers up to date? ” Checked my drivers, all up to date. Just had a game on Overwatch running Ultra settings with about 140FPS, tried reinstalling AO still the same stutters. I've just installed the game, all my drivers are up to date. I'm running: i5 4670k 16gb ramm r9 290 4gb I'm only roaming round the beginner areas, without really anyone by me so it's not like there is a massive population to cause any strain. I go from 250-300 FPS down to 10-20FPS for a few seconds which causes a lot of stuttering then back up to normal. I've tried V-Sync but that hasn't helped, it's doing this about every minute. Any ideas?
