  • You might consider stocking up on items ahead of time with buy orders to get cheaper prices and/or buy them in cities where the crafting bonus for that item type is and then transport back to your city. Maybe if prices are really high in some cities you can make some silver relisting and make some profit along the way. Being able to quickly buy loadouts is a great feature, but you have to realize it's an automated shortcut. Take a little more initiative and ownership and your personal economy wi…

  • To a certain extent, yes, it does. But definitely less of the dungeon variety and more along the lines of: 1) Small open world chests being unmarked on map, to reward roaming/exploring. (Medium & Large being unchanged) 2) More content broadly resembling faction transport missions. Like "deliver X materials, items, etc. to Arthur's Rest" or a scouting missions "Survey 5 (system chosen) Hideouts/Natural Formations" leading players around the BZ on a scavenger hunt. Quest-like but more acting as gu…

Thanks for the response and looking forward to hearing more in the dev talks!

Anonymity probably isn't necessary. Something as simple as disabling guild/alliance display and the associated "friendly" status might be enough. If you stumble upon your friend or guildmate who's name you recognize? Seems fine. But any inherent political status should be disabled in the Mists. It's like you're in a dream world and only those faces you know mean anything. @Obelis - Any chance you're able to give any hints on the current plans for crafting in the City in the Mists? Or might we be…

  • It's unrealistic as a solo player to expect as much/as profitable content as groups. That said, it is incredibly frustrating to see group sizes continually increasing for trivial content, further reducing the chances of solo players 1vX or even simply escaping. It's caused by an arms race of group N+1 beating group N = they bring N+2 next time and this cycle continues, unfortunately leaving solo players as collateral damage. No issues with these groups having more opportunities and profits, but …

Looks exciting! I hope there will be T8 system-owned crafting stations, without any special bonuses, located in the Mist city for players who want to live there. This would be amazing for those who want to avoid the large alliances, zerg gank groups, cartel controlled crafting station pricing, etc. It could be an ideal place for solo players who wish to avoid the larger politics of Albion and have our own niche in the game world.

What I haven't heard much about is the brilliant way that the most toxic behavior in this game was dealt with, groups of 4.1 'Gate Campers'! In one fell swoop Gate camping became a thing of the past.... Thank God! it was the most annoying and seriously toxic behavior that simply coul…

I don't think Spears are *that* far out of line. Rework the passives and slightly lowering the cooldown of the E abilities would be more than enough.

  • Quote from YeSer: “and why the tax cant be 10% , where is the problem? Theres change anything in the game puting it to 20%? Theres nothing change those guys that stay in market and only their game play is doing buy and sell orders earn less silver but its just 2% more of tax. Put sell order with head and u will pay less tax , its more entertaining for being a trader. Just change in ur benefits formula the tax % and keep working. and if u cant pay the tax sell them in the tradel channels ” The bi…

  • Really not a fan of the market tax increase. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing (I agree with the silver saturation problem) however it's just another unfortunate step punishing players who don't want to be a part of larger guild/alliance power structures in the game, sit on Discord all day, etc. Between hideout crafting bonuses, Caerleon/Rest transport escorts, Discord arranged/guild tax-free sales, the increase in zerg ganking groups over time, etc. it's getting pretty obnoxious to deal wit…

  • What makes you like Albion?

    Druhran - - Small Talk

    Post

Primarily the overall economic/high level systems design: - MOBA combat > "standard" MMO combat - How the item tiers/quality/enchants crafting is setup. - The best market in any MMO I've played (any game without buy orders = no thanks) + black market. - Each city having a unique economy and crafting/refining bonuses. - Gathering is fun to chill out to. - The great economic impact of ganks/item trashing. My only major gripe with Albion is the prevalence of Xv1 content and just how much groups gan…

  • Mail

    Druhran - - Feedback & Suggestions

    Post

I agree the mail system could use some added functionality. Sending silver would be nice, so would being able to filter market notification mails (buy, sell, sort by value, etc.) Sending items/silver on delivery would have way too much potential for abuse, however. Moving items between cities, rests, and hideouts would break the distinct economies each location is supposed to have without the transport (*especially* for rests/hideouts) where risky transport through the BZ makes items intentional…

  • A lot of it comes down to the black market in Caerleon. Aside from tomes/silver bags/similar items, everything comes from players selling items to the black market. Go use the black market, or assist the blue police in the red zones with transports/removing PKers, etc.

  • Three UI tweaks: 1) Keep minimap zoom level saved between play sessions. 2) Keep expanded market view open/closed state saved between play sessions. 3) Add buy/sell order completion filtering to the mail UI. IE: I'd like to quickly delete all buy order fill notifications as those are more easily reviewed at the market where the purchased items are waiting. Sell order mails, for me at least, are a more useful tool to track what's no longer there. (IE need to craft/buy/enchant/transport more of th…

  • Journey Back Ability

    Druhran - - Feedback Testserver

    Post

I'd rather see the Journey Back ability cost much more, but also put some work into the trash rate system. As more players are involved in a fight trash rate further increases to disincentivize 5v1s, 8v2s, etc. With exceptions in place where, say, a 5v5 fight between two group of distinctly partied players + any situation where Disarray is in place (solo/small groups not associated with the guilds & alliances involved just need to GTFO the zone if clearly outnumbered) There's obviously some nuan…

  • Having played with Journey Back for 2 weeks I'm liking it more than anticipated. It still feels kind of like a cheap band-aid solution conceptually, and removes the thrill of getting back with all your (higher value) gains. That said, it has definitely dispersed the 10-player choke point campers and created more organic PvP/smaller gank groups. I'd argue the upside here outweighs the aesthetic 'bleh' I feel about the teleport itself. Plus in this more target rich environment it rewards the solo/…
