  • Quote from Alemaoo: “Quote from Pherkad: “what if I was in a guild the entire season and I quit it 1 day before season ends?will I do get any reward what so ever? ” Rewawrds like battle mounts i think yout should still get when swiching guilds. But loyalty ones like rings and avatars not really, dont leave your guild. ” I would argue the opposite. Rings and avatars should be rewarded for consistent play across the season. Battle mounts should be tied to the guild you spend the required time to e…

When you have billions of silver and nothing to spend the silver on, skins become that sink.

  • If you are willing to spend a significant amount of time to learn the game, understand the preferred pathway you are going to explore, and then play, play, play the game; yes it is very easy to be self sufficient. But to get there you are going to need to spend dozens if not 100s of hours in game to reach that state.

These items are all "legacy" items, so they are no new ones being created. So there is a limited quantity available of these items. At the end of the day, the price/value of these items is dictated by the market. How much a buyer is willing to pay and the seller willing to let it go for. The prices you see on discord channels are going to be more accurate and reflective of values than you will see in the AH.

  • Since F2P, the running of alt empires has increased dramatically. As there are certain mechanics to boost new players that can be (and are) exploited by those who want to run alt empires.

and to put into perspective, the current crafting journal system, a T7 toT8 upgrade pays itself off in ~40days (journal dependent)

  • The grind has been nerfed time and again, to the point now you can easily progress T5-T6-T7 in the less than 24hours without LP. The fame does scale for better tier resources as does the fame needed to unlock the next tier level. And as you increase your specialisation and gathering gear you get bonus fame ticks that can give you bonus fame per tick. Part of the game design is to educate players rather than cannonball running them against establishing players. That situation would actively disco…

  • for OP 1. Historically people specialise characters to do certain activities; combat, gather, craft etc. This really only works if you maintain those characters with premium to reap the full benefits. This is the most efficient way to reach high specialisation. 2. You can not trade directly trade between your alts on same account. You can however do any of these: have all characters in same guild and use the guild bank, use island chests for item sharing, deposit silver into crafting stations on…

  • good luck renting this out with the patch coming up in 2 weeks

  • As a gatherer, you dont want to gather +1 above your current tier. ie. if you are T6 logger, you dont want to gather t7 wood. The reason being: 1. You don't get any specialisation fame for gathering +1 above your current tier. 2. The time it takes to gather just 1xT7 log you can chop an entire T6 tree. So is grossly inefficient time wise. The high tier resources are locked behind higher risk zones (PvP). The reward you get for venturing there is the better quality materials.

  • Posted content of quality is better to reward than just by volume of posts.

  • Are you going to change UI so you can actually see your food buff duration while having a crafting window open?

  • Corrupted Dungeons, using Infernal Shield ability, for the bonus IP they offer.

  • Perhaps the Dev want to increase the $$$ people spend ingame. Increasing costs of general items and increasing silver sink through elite specs, removes a lot of in game silver. Thus more players will be inclined to buy premium/silver/gold with $$$.

They do need a massive overhaul or simply removal from the game. They are frankly an antiquated part of the game that are not needed in the mega-fame era the game is embarking upon. Unless journal fame requirements and journal silver outputs are both increased significantly, they are not an economically viable part of the game. My recommendation is to just remove them. (numbers may be off as I have not played in a month or two). To upgrade a T7 to T8 house will cost you roughly 10million silver …

@Shakul57 Using the example provided, the cost to craft 1x t5 2h weapon is significantly more expensive than current crafting stations (and historic crafting costs). With the additional changes to crafting journals the impact on the economic is going to be revolutionary. I anticipate that prices of common items will surge in value increasing to well over 2x current values. If this all part of the intended economic changes then so be it. Or perhaps this is an attempt to increase the removal of si…

  • @Quagga What you need to understand is what HCE has done and still brings to the game. * A market for high end gear that otherwise would never be used at all or outside of high-end 5v5 - ask yourself is going to run around open world in 8.3 MP Royal Robe? - who is going to buy that T8 ironroot artifact if not to craft for HCE? * An activity of guaranteed content for people with limited time * Content for people who don't want the stress of PvP * A means of farming fame with relative reliability …
