  • Ox dismount buff?

That's fair if the passive on other mounts prevents this being viable. I suppose as-is then I'd just take more trips on a horse. I'd use a unique mount, but usually the goods I'm carrying are only 3-4x more valuable than a unique mount, so it doesn't seem worth using a unique until I'm drowning in silver.

  • Ox dismount buff?

    Post

Quote from Borbarad: “if you use ox in dangerous zone, that´s on you. Also, you can actually run for a while when you get dismounted by ox if you use guardian boots / gigantify potion ” That's sort of the point, I wouldn't use an Ox in a dangerous zone. Can you name anyone who would? The suggestion is just so there's less of a downside to using one there. Right now you're slower than an alternative mount and 100% dead if dismounted. Wouldn't it just be enough of a downside to be slower than othe…

  • Ox dismount buff?

It would be nice if Ox's had a passive like: Bear the Burden When dismounted by a player or mob, you retain the Ox's carry capacity for X seconds. Taking damage from players refreshes the this buff, dealing damage removes it. X = the amount of time needed for the Ox to cooldown + re-mount. This prevents the player simply being waited out. Basically this gives the player a chance to run when dismounted from an Ox. On the flip side, there's the bonus for PvP players in that this would mean players…

  • New Telegraphing

    Post

Just considering a telegraphing that would make some skills on NPCs take more effort to dodge while still giving some lenience. Right now if you want something to be hard to avoid, it has a really short telegraph, which is fine. But an alternate might be this: Have a telegraph with a Yellow area and the normal Red area. Yellow Area: While the telegraph is charging in the yellow area, the NPC will track the player. Circles will follow the player, arrow/axe lines will rotate to the player. The spe…

  • Hey. If you have level 50 in artefact specialisation then all three will be level 50. You won't be losing any levels, the only change will be that the remaining levels will be easier to get.

  • But but... free fame and money when no one's available for dungeons

  • So, I queued for arena with the enigmatic staff and it automatically assigned me as damage, so I didn't change it. But then in the arena itself I was told I'd be getting reports for being a second healer. I also feel if I'd have queued as a healer I'd be getting reports for not being able to heal. I assume if the default for arcane is damage, I can be comfortable with being damage, even without any actual damage skills. It's definitely a confusing weapon role.

  • Well, I figured the best suggestion would be simply adding a FoV option to settings: forum.albiononline.com/index.p…/132042-Add-a-FoV-option/ Best of both worlds, pick a resolution, pick a FOV. That way I can just max it out before any trip to the black zone. I would ideally have liked a fixed FoV for balance, but an non-optional option fits everyone. At least this way it's built into the game.

  • Add a FoV option

Since wider resolutions grant a wider field of view, it may be worth simply adding a field of view option in the graphical settings. This makes it so people don't need to manually create their own custom resolutions to get the greatest advantage in PvP, they can simply crank the FoV option to max (maybe max should be the default?)

  • I see this is marked as not a bug. If that's the case, maybe it would be worth making the cinematic, black-bar resolution the default, so people start with the advantage? It seems odd that I need to create a custom resolution and apply it in game if it's an intended PvP feature. Or is it more that this is more of a suggestion? I could post it over there if so.

  • It feels like a PvP focused game should have a pretty fixed Field of View, regardless of resolution or aspect ratio. Graphical options should not give players an advantage/disadvantage in a PvP game. It would be a benefit to fix this issue so people don't have to play the game in a cinematic widescreen resolution to be competitive.

  • So, the argument here is that 150v50 isn't fair due to numbers and 40v40 isn't fair due to... skill? Shouldn't the most skilled team win, given equal gear I mean? It seems like it would be easier to balance how much a group of 40 could control over how much a guild with limitless members could. My guess would be the game would have far more interesting fights if they made it easier for a guild to spread itself too thin in terms of how much control it has. It would encourage a larger amount of sm…

  • Maybe before the fight in a zone starts your guild assigns 45 participants, consisting of up to 40 guild members and any number of alliance members (up to the 45 cap, so an alliance lets your bring 5 more). Once the battle begins anyone on that list will enter an instanced version of that zone, as described in the original post. Defending players accept and channel to enter the instance (much like an arena invite), any attacking players in the zone must also accept and channel, but are teleporte…

  • Crop Rotation

    Fikule - - Feedback & Suggestions

    Post

Just an idea for Farm/Herb plots. It could be that each plant harvested in a plot adds a bonus for crops planted in the next 20 hours, stacking up to 9 times (one for each plot square) example: Carrots Harvest Bonus - Wheat: +5% Seed Bonus - Cabbage: +1.5% So a field full of Carrots would give a +45% bonus to harvested wheat for any planted in the next 20 hours or a +13.5% bonus to seed harvest for any cabbage planed in the next 20 hours. This makes farming a bit more interesting as each seed wo…

  • Quick Cast targeting

Could we have a quick cast option to re-target on mouseover for single target spells? Right now, with a targeted spell, quick cast will cast it wherever you click With a single target spell it will cast it on whoever you have targeted. It would be nice if the option would re-target before casting if your mouse is over a valid target. Basically it just feels a bit disjointed to have to specifically select a target for some spells and just have my mouse in an area for others.

  • I know we have the option to block all party invites. Could we change this to have some granularity? For instance, I don't want to block party invites in town. I don't want to block party invites from friends I do want to block party invites from people in the open world chasing you down, so I don't have that dialog on the screen.

  • Agreed, I don't see why you can't see where a party member is

  • It would be nice to have some synergy between labourers and crafting stations, just to encourage some crafting on your island. My suggestions is giving a book to a labourer provides related facilities on the island with a return bonus with dimishing returns. Example: Skinning Labourer's given a full book will provide a 5/4/3/2/1/0.5/0.25/...% return on items for leather-based refining/crafting until they return. The tier of book determines the tier of hide/leather the return works with. Items th…

  • Ahh, fair. I may need a suggestion for that then

  • I was checking some posts, but most are 2 years old. Are these stations worth it on an Island now? Or still all houses/farms? I'm asking as I only started again recently and noticed the taxes have gone up quite a bit in towns and was curious if anything else has changed.
