I recommend an Asus ROG Router with WTFast® game accelerator. Has to be "ROG" for free WTFast registration. They are the best ones I've experienced thus far that actually helps with ping; cuts it by half at least for me.

For me, this seems to only happen with the East server. I can log in the West server and play just fine, but when I log out the character (not closing down the game completely) and switch back to the East Server, the incorrect client prompt appears again…
